Yes, almost any structure can be moved limited only by its cost
effectiveness.
Every project is different. Cost is affected by site conditions,
size, weight, building design and exterior height. The distance
traveled doesn’t necessarily affect the cost because most of our work
is in the prepping, raising, loading and unloading the building. Each
project is different and the amount of time required.
In most cases we recommend that the building be in place and raised
so that the footings and foundation walls can be constructed only
because older structures are not always perfectly square. We do it
both ways if necessary.
Yes, we do excavation and backfill on foundation work or if you
prefer you can hire your own contractor for this part of your
project.
We have chosen to establish our offices and storage yard
approximately one hour east of Ottawa in Plantagenet, Ontario to
lower our operation costs in order to pass the savings to our
clients. The distance we travel is only limited by cost effectiveness
and project size.
We use the latest available equipment on the market, hydraulic pumps with multiple
heads including long stem jacks. We buil our own equipment using
local steel fabricating shops. Multiple articulating wheel dolly,
hydraulic moving bolster beams, high weight capacity steel rollers.
We are constantly re-designing and building equipment as we are
always facing new engineering challenges.
We provide comprehensive liability and structural road insurance
during all moves.
Police escort is required, fees vary between townships.
